JOINING TRI-M
You are invited to become a member of the national music honor society, Tri-M. In the U.S., an honor society is a rank organization that recognizes excellence among peers often within an academic discipline. Tri-M is a program of NAfME (the National Association for Music Education, which is the largest arts education association in the world. Tri-M bonds students who have a passion for and excellence in music.

Requirements: Students eligible for Tri-M membership must currently be a member of one of Parkland High School’s major music ensembles (band, chorus, orchestra), have a minimum overall G.P.A. of 3.0, and a minimum G.P.A. for music courses taken of 3.5. Membership is open to students in grades 10, 11 and 12 with good character and who make a positive contribution to Parkland High School music ensembles.
